aerobic system

the aerobic system uses oxygen and its also limitless;  and also their is 38molecules.
the glucose breaks down to lactic acid then that breaks down and the atppc system comes in and thirdly the creb cycle, they combine and break apart.
eletric chamber chain and atp is made.
some are positvily charged and some are negativly charged;
the down side is that they all take time to work.
but when all the glucose in gone you use fat instead.

STAGE1

(get energy) 2ATP LACTIC ACID + acids
 
 
STAGE 2;
 
  Creb Cycle > reactions accur
carbon dioxide and hydrogen and more atp is produced.
 
 
 
Then STAGE 3
when the hydrogen goes to the electron transport cycle.

lactic acid

Glucogen is stored in your muscles, glucose is basically sugar, gylcolysis breaks up into atp and pc glucogen glycolysis is the process that helps the atppc system to run so it allows the system to keep going.  lactic acid feels like its burning and can only last up to 40-60secs; the lactic acid slows you down what you need is oxygen to get to your glucogen. Also lactic acid makes you feel pain so for example, when you do push ups if you feel the pain after about 10seconds is the lactic acid, so like i said what you need is oxygen to help break up the lactic acid. Also when the atppc system runs out your body switches to the lactic acid system.

when we do exersice e.g the gym we use the atp pc system you only use that paticular system with certain sports, mucsles have a limited store to last for 10seconds like a battery doesnt mean you stop its just that another system takes over the atp breaks away then reforms again. some goes to the muscle to restore again and when the atp breaks it releases energy.

We went to the gym and used the atppc system what we did was leg presses,pull ups, push ups, running for 12minutes, if we lasted more then 10senconds on one exercise, then we know our atppc system wasnt being used.

musculo-skeletal system

We tested our flexibility short term by doing a sit and reach test then after went on the trampolining for abit and after did the sit and reach test again that increases our flexibility because the synovial fluid helps you to become more flexible.
muscles pull and they work in pairs for example your try sep and bi  sep also your deltoid muscle makes the arm go up and the arm go down.
every bone in your body got an oppisite for example your elbows and knees and your hip and shoulder. you get more flexible when you warm up because their warm, you do a warm up because your bones are stiff and you need loosen up.

long term effects

as our muscles grow and bones get stronger, it increases flexibility and more sunuviul fluid and you get more cartilidge and increase lung capacity and have more red blood cells.
the amount of exerise you do makes the body fitter so it needs to be able to keep up with its self and your heart gets stronger and pumps more blood in one beat and this is called stroke volume.
with bone density the out side of the bone is called the compact bone.
also the bones  get stronger to cope with stress and all the stess you put threw them, also it helps you maintain health.

cardiovascular + respiraory

Before the easter holiday i learnt about the cardiovascular + respiratory system, what we did to test our cardiovascular + respiratory is at first we sat down  for 2mins and tested are heart weight then after did 30m sprint relay races and tested are pulse weight  then after tested are pulse weight again and saw the diffrence. My pulse weight before i did anything was 34 and after the relay races was 54.

testing heart weight

Last lesson we tested are heart weight by recording are resting heart weight and juring a running exercise, first of all we sat down for 2minutes then tested are heart weight then after that we did a 30meter relay the relay was done in 2's so one person would  and after that we tested are heart weight again and their was a dramastic change in my results.
